Artwork that stores geometric information about shapes and lines called vectors. They can be easily scaled without producing the stair-step edges you will see on pixel based (RASTER) images. They adapt to the resolution of any output device and are considered to be resolution independent.

• Must be saved in one of the following formats for use on a PC (file must have an extension):
• Corel DRAW (v.6 to v.11 are acceptable: *.CDR, *.CMX)
• Adobe Illustrator (v.88 to v.10 are acceptable: *.AI)
• Encapsulated Postscript (*.EPS, *.PS)
• All fonts must be converted to curves regardless of the format. If future changes to the text are necessary then the original font file must be supplied with the artwork for use on a PC.
• Embedded RASTER images in the above file formats are not acceptable.
• If the VECTOR graphics are considered overly complex and require simplification before use, then they are subject to our ARTWORK SETUP CHARGE.
• These files are generally quite small (less than 750kb in size).

Artwork and images that are defined by a grid pattern of pixels or dots. Raster images dependent on the number of original pixels and cannot be enlarged without producing noticeably jagged, stair-stepped edges.

• Must be saved in one of the following formats for use on a PC (file must have an extension):
• Corel PHOTO-PAINT (v.7 to v.11 are acceptable: *.CPT, *.JPG)
• Adobe Photoshop (v.6 or lower: *.PSD, *.JPG, *.TIF)
• Windows Bitmap (*.BMP)
• All RASTER images must be 300 dpi or better and be sized at 100%.

Emailed Artwork

• Every email message has a subject that should contain your company name (eg. Artwork for Your Company Name).

• Artwork should be submitted in a compressed file format (ie. Use a ZIP compression tool).

• Self-extracting files are not accepted and are deleted on sight.

Electronic Artwork

• Can be submitted on a CD-R/CD-RW or on a 3½" floppy disk.

• The disks should be formatted for use on a PC compatible system or else they cannot be used.

• All electronic media is scan for viruses prior to use.

Hardcopy Artwork

• We accept all kinds of artwork when brought in.

• The artwork will be converted to an electronic format prior to use, therefore there is a minimum charge of $35.00.

• The quality of the initial artwork will reflect the finished artwork.

• We prefer that all artwork be submitted in an electronic format using VECTOR graphics.

Internet Artwork

• Artwork taken from the internet is not deemed acceptable.

• Images from websites are often low-resolution RASTER images that require a supernatural intuition and time to reconstruct into a useable format.

• We prefer not going to websites to obtain artwork, rather we encourage you to submit the artwork to us.

Custom Designed Artwork

• We are more than happy to create original artwork for our clients.

• We offer our services in Logo and Workmark creation and our fees start at $50.00 for such services.

• All artwork remains the property of the creators unless otherwise agreed upon.
• Our fees are based on $35.00 an hour with the initial hour costing $50.00.

• We can provide custom artwork in a variety of formats for the client to use in business cards, letterheads and so forth.

• We encourage the submission of high quality artwork since this saves the client money and helps us create great looking products.
• If the artwork needs to be modified or converted into a usable format we charge the following:
• $35.00 an hour with a minimum of $35.00
